Level-1 Light – Springfield, MO
Scenario:
Level-1 Light was a new weight loss supplement brand being produced on a national level. A logo and product label needed to be produced on an accelerated time table in order to meet production schedules that would meet the expected New Year's resolutions.
Elements developed:
Logo Development Packaging Design / Product Labels
The name Level-1 refers to a starting point for anyone facing a physical transformation. The logo was meant to be trendy, while maintaining basic form to represent simplicity. It was also important for the logo to be translatable on both white and black backgrounds.
As for the label, nutritional supplement packaging typically has a generic feel, style and design. For this packaging, Boyle Creative wanted the product to have a trendy feel to it without having too much of a 'brushed steel' masculine appeal. The sharp contrast of
turquoise
and black along with a slightly futuristic look help establish the product as an industry-leading, high-end product. In addition, the bright colors and silver
iridescent
look against a shiny black bottle, is meant to make the product visually leap off the shelves in contrast with other supplement products.
Finally, instead of listing ingredients or specific features on the front, a result-focused approach was taken, and benefits that the buyer can relate to were listed.
