GRAPHIC.DESIGN WingHaven Intersections Newsletter, McEagle Construction – O'Fallon, MO Scenario: The WingHaven residential and commercial development created by McEagle Construction in O'Fallon, Missouri follows a growing trend of ‘planned’ communities.  The community is structured around the ideas of ‘Live, Learn, Work, Play and Pray.’ The WingHaven quarterly newsletter, the Intersections, was in need of an update.  The content wasn't ever consistent and the layout was dated. They wanted a fresh look that residents would still recognize, but had more thought-out content, higher quality graphics and a cleaner overall layout, while still maintaining a ‘home-town’ appeal. Elements developed: Tri-Fold Brochure Boyle Creative Solutions redesigned the layout of the newsletter and attended the planning meetings when deciding content for each issue.  Graphics are coordinated with each story and are higher quality stock art, as opposed to out-dated clip art. Outcome: Both the client and the community were extremely pleased with the new newsletter.  After only two issues with the new layout, advertising sales have gone up, the newsletter grew from 8 to 12 pages and more content was being submitted by both residents and businesses alike.
